Life! what a wonder you are! It is amazing how life could turn out sometimes; sweet or sour. Life is like a game but this time, the game is real and any failure could cause more than a loss of life. This game sometimes doesn’t give us a second chance. A lot of people plainly say one can’t enjoy life without money. To an extent, this statement might be true. Why? There are so many things that one needs to make life enjoyable. Food, a roof over our heads, cars, a decent job, amazing family, and friends amongst others. We might also crave vacations and designer clothes. These are not as bad, as everyone craves the finer things in life. Those things that make one feel comfortable and complete. But then again, can money buy happiness? Or most importantly, how do you live a happy life?

Money, for one thing, doesn’t and can never buy happiness. No matter the number of cars one has or the various houses scattered around the world, this cannot bring true happiness if you have not found it. Money can’t buy health, family, true friends, or contentment. A lot of rich people suffer from bad families and friends who just want to see their downfall.

Everyone wants money, it is understandable. We all should strive to make clean and pure wealth. But the question is; how can we enjoy life with or without money? This is important to note because this life has to be enjoyed for us to make the best out of it. We cannot live through life and stress every day. We need to make full use of our daily activities to ensure that we are happy and our full existence is productive.

The most important thing is to enjoy your life – to be happy – it’s all that matters

1. Live Freely

Ask yourself, are you truly free? A lot of people are not. They live their whole lives bound by invisible shackles. They live their lives trying to please everybody. some live their lives ignoring the little things that make them happy in pursuit of one grand aim that might not ultimately make them happy. Stop trying to please everyone, it is simply impossible. Learn to live for yourselves first. Only in that can we find happiness.

I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.

Bill Cosby

2. Be Yourself

Pretending to be something you are not is the first way to fail at life. You have a lot of potentials, why waste it in being someone else? Being someone else is a hard job because you never know what that person is going through unless you go walk a mile in their shoes. Everyone else has their problems to deal with, forget about the perfect image being portrayed on social media The only thing you can do for us is to be true to you.

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Oscar Wilde

3. Love Yourself

I repeat, Love Yourself. This is very important if you are trying to be happy. How can you not love yourself, when you’re all that you have? Who then would love you? Everything starts with you. Love yourself and then others can love you too.

Love yourself. Forgive yourself. Be true to yourself. How you treat yourself sets the standard for how others will treat you.

Steve Maraboli

3. Stay Healthy

Health is wealth as the saying goes. Health is the biggest wealth. Being healthy is more than staying free of any disease. It means staying fit physically, being emotionally intact, and physiologically okay. Health is the Biggest Wealth in Life. It brings in you the desired happiness, enjoyment, and pleasure. Don’t risk it for anything.

I have chosen to be happy because it is good for my health.

Voltaire

Avoid Bad Vibes – ‘Bad energy stay far away’ is from a popular Nigerian artiste. Please go and listen to the song. Bad energy is draining so stay far away from it.

4. Do What Makes You Happy

You don’t have to live your life the way other people expect you to. Do whatever makes you happy. Whatever you have passion for, pursue it. You might ask, how do I make money out of it? Nothing is impossible in the world today, dear. Everything can be monetized and there are lots of opportunities for you. You only have to make the move. Just do it.

Give yourself permission to do what you’ve always wanted.

6. Be Open to Learn New Things

It isn’t through schooling only one learns. In fact, the bulk of what we know is learned outside the four corners of a classroom. You can even learn from a child as long as you are willing to. Learn that new skill you have always wanted to. Explore new things, cultures, languages, or experiences. There’s happiness in learning.

Your happiness is at the intersection of your passions and learning from great people.

Setting goals and fulfilling them brings out the inner happiness in us. Fulfilling even the smallest of gaols can make us feel contented. Imagine fulfilling the bigger ones. 16. Be Wary of Social Media

Social media—and the internet— can have its effect. It aids in the feeling of depression, mostly among young people worldwide. Don’t let Social media be your whole reason for existence. Have a life outside social media. Don’t hesitate to take a break from social media or even your phone, if you feel it is not good for you. You can perform more outdoor activities, spend time with family and friends, or, read a book.

17. Remember God’s Blessing

This should be a source of happiness in your life. Remember all that God has done to your life. Count all your blessings and feel lucky that others can’t say the same. So which of the favors of His Lord would you deny?

Life is sweet regardless of what you feel now. It is important to make good use of the times and what we have now. Everything happens for a reason. Live your life with as much enthusiasm as possible and ensure that you can make a little difference wherever you find yourself. Ensure that life is enjoyable for you. Put Yourself before anyone else. A lot of people might see this as being selfish but then it is true. If you do not take care of yourself first, you will never know to take care of others.

Take care of yourself, love yourself, and then love will spread to others.

Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth

Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like that’s what you wanna do
